Our Ingredients
At Churned Creamery, we take pride in being an artisan ice-cream shop, crafting our ice-cream from scratch right in our store. We go the extra mile to select world-class ingredients, ensuring the best taste. By making our ice-cream base in-house and churning it to a fine and smooth consistency, we can always serve you the freshest ice-cream
Our ice-cream are made with two main components: the base and the flavors. For our milk-based products, we hand-select ice-cream bases from a world-class producer, which are also egg-free. Our flavors are sourced from a wide range of exclusive suppliers, giving our ice-creams their unique and delightful taste. Each recipe is the result of countless hours of mixing, testing, and perfecting until we are confident it meets our high standards.
These artisan, exclusive recipes, with their varying measurements and ingredients, influence the fat content and mouthfeel (the texture of the food in your mouth) of each ice-cream. Ultimately, our goal is to bring endless joy to our customers with every scoop.
Our Ice-Cream Making Process
Our Ice-cream are churned at the optimal speed to achieve that creamy, scoopable goodness. Using our exclusive Italian ice-cream mixer, we run it continuously at a low speed, incorporating minimal air into the mixture. This results in a denser consistency, as ice-cream contains about 25 to 30 percent air, compared to ice cream, which can contain up to 50 percent air.
We store our Ice-cream in the churning machine at a slightly warmer temperature, around 15°F. This ensures our ice-creams are never completely frozen, giving them a softer and silkier texture than traditional ice cream.
Our Journey
COVID 19 has a devastating impact on the business. We bought the business in November 2019 and have been operating the business under tremendous challenges and severely declining market conditions at current location.
We are located at The District at Tustin- 2493 Park Ave, Tustin, CA 92782. The business model was based on organic high-volume traffic from the AMC theatre and nearby restaurants. Unfortunately, due to COVID AMC theater was closed mostly since then and theater traffic never came back. Also, major anchor restaurants have been moving out- specially the Union market where are housed has been deserted by the customer. It is well understood that the business will not survive at current location and needs to relocate. Pre-COVID sales were strong, and store was profitable under previous owner. But store was closed from mid-March through mid-June 2020. After that due to federal, state, and local restrictions the store faced highly decline sales and never reached the full potential
We have some amazing products which customer loves and we just need to make available to new generation of customers at the different location. We are confident that if this unique shop can house at your location it will thrive to it’s full potential and be a very successful again

Nice little ice cream shop with lots of flavors. Nutella and captain crunch. Oreos and gummy bears. Fruits and jelly beans. There are 15 or so flavors with tons of toppings. All the ice cream is churned on site. Pretty cool
